Cheerful Monday #56 - Use Embossing Powder ....

... this is Vicki's request for her new challenge and I duly obliged! I created a little cheeky monkey tagusing stamping and embossing for the background
The tag base is cut with a Sizzix die from Kraftcard.
For the background I stamped little images (stamps: Heindesign) with VersaMark onto watercolour card and heat-embossed the images with WOW clear embossing powder before inking the background with various shades of blue distress ink. The embossed images remain white ... it's true magic (lol)
The little cheeky monkey driver I coloured a digital image from Bugaboo and added some traffic light buttons and twine.

Hope you can join us for the challenge. Petra.

Cheerful Monday #53 - Add Some Flowers

... to anything you like. This is Vicki's current challenge and there is plenty of time to play. I opted for a very easy birthday card
with a sentiment from Bugaboo as focal point
I coloured the image with colouring pencils and Copics
the image is layered on patterend paper (I am sorry I cannot remember the manufacturer anymore)
and embellished with a little half pearls and .... paper flowers ....

Hope to can join us for the challenge. And for more fabulous inspiration please pop over to the Cheerful Stamp Pad, Petra.

Cheerful Monday #52 - Add Some Flowers

Well, I didn't! I just added buttons ... which shows that after coming back from Germany I have still not quite returned to normal life ... how silly! Hope you enjoy my little tag regardless and interpret the buttons just as button flowers (lol)
I love this Lady from Bugaboo in her funky dress and the fabulous hat. I coloured her with copics.
The tag base is cut from patterend paper (sorry I cannot remember which company)
and then stamped with Black Soot distress ink and stamps from Elzybells and Creative expressions.
The buttons are coloured with chalk.

Hope you enjoy the challenge, just play with flowers and join us at Vicki's Cheerful Stamp Pad challenge, Petra.

Cheerful Monday #48 - Black & White

Today is Monday and time for a new challenge, a colour challenge over at the Cheerful Stamp Pad: Black & White. This colour combination is always so classy and I love both colours very much.
I created the card background by stamping repeatedly little Penny Black flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. It was not only fun but was also very relaxing (lol)
I added some black card and a digital stamp from Bugaboo Digi Stamps. To embellish the card I stamped two butterflies from Crafty Individuals and cut them out and also added some very narrow gingham ribbon.

Hope you have time to join us and also pop over to the blog to see all the fabulous creations from the DT! Petra.

Cheerful Monday #41 - A Little Hello

Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday time with your family and friends. I am a bit sad that it is over, I love Christmas time with its secrets and huzzle and buzzle ... but there will always be next year (lol). And for now I am just saying a little hello
with Deacon from  Bugaboo sitting on his Candy cane. Isn't he cute?
coloured with Copics,
layered on lots of patterend paper (Jillibean Soup, My Mind's Eye, October Afternoon) and Kraft card,
embellished with a little wooden star and a stamped sentiment from Elzybells.

This card is my project for Vicki's 'Anything Goes' challenge on the Cheerful Stamp Pad blog. For more wonderful inspiration please do pop over and hopefully you can join us! Petra.

Little Miss Muffett - Sunbonnet FlowerLady

Yippeeehhhh ....today is release day at Little Miss Muffett with new stamps from Jodie, from Bugaboo Stamps, who has designed some exclusive Sunbonnet Rubber Stamps for Little Miss Muffet Stamps ... the new images are super-cute, little sweet ladies and young gentlemen. The images are just perfect for Mother's and Father's Days, birthdays, ...... And, as if that wasn't enough, this week, we're also releasing a rather fabulous new Birds on a Wire Die too .... To celebrate all this exciting news, The Little Misses have joined forces with the Bugaboo Stamps Design Team for a fun Blog Hop and there are prizes, too.

For my project I could not resist to choose the little sunbonnet flower lady for a Mother's Day card .. she is just sooo sweet
Layers of October Afternoon patterend papers
punched scalloped edges and little pearls
the sentiment is stamped (stamps: Kartenkunst)
I coloured the image with distress markers,
cut it out and added it with foam pads to oval Nestabilities die cut shapes,
little pearls make the centre of the flowers
Satin ribbon and a little fabric flower from Prima Marketing are the finishing touches.

Now, when you read all of this, you should have arrived safely at my blog coming from Peggy. Don't hesitate and hop on to the next amazing inspiration from Sammibug. The Blog Hop will close at 8pm, Central time on Sunday 26 May.

Enjoy the hop and have a lovely day, Petra.
