Cheerful Monday #6 - Easter Banner

For the second week of Vicki's challenge: anything but a card I created a banner for my forthcoming Easter Market ... well, rather two (lol) ... using Creative Cuts and More banner pages
the banner pages are covered with October Afternoon paper to make them very sturdy
scalloped circles (Quickutz, Octover Afternoon paper) edged with Stickles
layered with a paper rosette (October Afternoon)
and a chipboard letter which was painted with acrylic paint and stickled
embellishments: paper flowers and little pearls
I linked the individual pages with satin ribbon.
I created a second banner using similar ingredients ... I will show you in a next post, here is a little bit of a sneak peek :-)

Hope you can join us for this challenge, just hop over to the  Cheerful Stamp Pad for more inspiration, Petra.

Photo Session #2 - Spring and Exciting News

A warm welcome to my new followers and thank you so much to everybody stopping by my blog - this is so much appreciated!

It is Friday, the end of the week and the start of the weekend .... yippeehhh!!!! Today I would like to share with you the first signs of Spring I found in my garden, lovely crocusses and somewhat very shy snowdrops trying to hide in the undergrowth ...
Since I have taken the photos the temperature has dropped and teenie tiny snowflakes are falling from the sky ...... Winter is not quite gone yet (sigh)

And then I had some exciting news, I won the sketch challenge over at Little Miss Muffet with my card Together  and will be guest designer for their next challenge. I am really looking forward to the challenge - which I cannot tell you about at the moment ....

Have a lovely weekend, keep warm and safe, Petra.

Cheerful Monday #4 - For You

A new week started and time for a new challenge over at Vicki's blog: You Have My Heart. The digital image I used is from Just Some Lines. And isn't she sweet, a little girl with her little heart balloon
The card layout is based on a sketch from Deconstructing Jen.  I covered a Kraft card with My Mind's Eye papers and did some machine stitching. The image is coloured with Copics. For embellishment I added some twine, charm and a little pearl. The sentiment (stamp by Mia) is stamped: for you
... and as I couldn't stop I made a second card .... just without the stitching. Have a lovely evening and don't forget to pop over to Vicki's blog for further inspiration, Petra.
