Cheerful Monday #7 - Ballett Shoes

These are wonderful ballett shoes and take me right back to the time when my daughter did ballett in her free time ... ballett with all its glamour but also the pain especially for dancing on points ... oh dear, I am getting all nostalgic now (sigh) ... let's go quickly back to this adorable image from A Day for Daisies
a little 10x10cm card base layered with Craftwork Cards patterend paper
the image is coloured with Copics, the background created using digital papers,
and layered on black card
the ballett dancer is die-cut from EchoPark paper using a Marianne Design Die
lace from Imagine DIY, little pearls and a pearl heart
the shoes, leaves and rose were cut out and added to the main image as second layer
given the image a little bit more depth

To see many more wonderful dance inspiration please do pop over to the Cheerful Stamp Pad blog, hope you can join us for the challenge, Petra.

Photo Session #4 - Spring Snow

Officially it is Spring but reality looks slightly different with wet and cold weather. The wind is howling aorund the house and all Spring flowers have been enveloped in a very wet and cold snowy blanket. Keep warm and safe and have a lovely Sunday, Petra.

TagTuesday #2 - K for Knitting and C for Crochet

Two more tags for Tag Tuesday, in the same area of craftmanship but they turned out quite differently

K for knitting
Aren't these two darling, sitting and chatting away over their knitting?
I found the image on Silke's blog, I wish I would own such wonderful knitting magazines (sigh).
The image is framed with cast-on using a big knitting needle,
the sentiment is printed and added with a little pearl
It is all layered on an old German knitting pattern
and embellished with a little letter bead.

 C for Crochet
One of my crochet flowers became the focal point for this tag,
added with washi tape, ricrac ribbon and pearls,
the sentiment is stamped (Elzybells).
For the background I sprayed white card with Dylusion spray ink ...
isn't the negative brilliant ... it will be one of my next projects (lol)
the stamping was done with Kaisercraft stamps and bottle tops.

have a lovely weekend, Petra.

Cheerful Monday #6 - Let's Dance

Vicki's new challenge for the coming two weeks is: Let's Dance - what a cheerful and enjoyable theme during these very wet and dull days ....

The focal point is an image from A Day for Daisies which I coloured with Copics and distress inks (Victorian Velvet, Antique Linen, Bundled Sage, Old Paper). Aren't these little girls just darling?
The image is layered on card which I inked with distress inks around the edges.
For the background I used Kaisercraft paper which I stamped on with Hero Arts stamps.
The flowers are coloured with Copics and distress inks (Victoian V elvet, Fired Brick).
The finishing touches are some ribbons, a wooden heart with a little bit of Stickles and some pearls.

Hope you can join us for this wonderful challenge.
For more inspiration just pop over to the Cheerful Stamp Pad, Petra.
