Thank you to all of you for your patience with my posts. Here is the very belated Cheerful Monday post for Vicki's current challenge: Snowy Day.
The adorable image is again from Vintage Image Craft and it just felt like fitting perfectly with the one I used previously. So I created another little pendant in the same style as the previous one. The image is layered on some hessian and adorned with lace, punched-out snowflakes and some blings. The little stamped sentiment is from Elzybells.
I hope you can play with us for this challenge, just pop over to Vicki's blog. You will also find some amazing inspiration from the DT for the challenge. Petra.

Cheerful Monday #39 - Christmas Greetings
The Christmas cards have started to arrive .... every day I am really looking forward coming home from work and seeing what the postman has brought, he must feel a little bit like Santa I would think! And I am still in Christmas card making mode ... what about you? Have you already finished all your projects?
Here is one of the cards I made for Vicki's challenge: Signs of Christmas
Here is one of the cards I made for Vicki's challenge: Signs of Christmas
These are not normally the colours I would choose at this time of the year but I just had to use this adorable image from Vintage Image Craft. It fitted perfectly with the colour scheme of some quite old papers I had in my stash and cannot remember where they come from, sorry.
I added some lace, vintage buttons and a little bow as adronement to the card.
For more amazing inspiration please do pop over to the Cheerful Stamp Pad blog, hope you can join us for the challenge. Petra.

Cheerful Monday #38 - Signs of Christmas
Yes, the signs of Christmas are now truly everywhere and everybody seems to be already so busy with Christmas preparations, presents, lunches, ...... despite all this huzzle and buzzle I so love this time of the year. It is so full of secrets, of wonderful smells of Christmas cookies and mulled wine and Christmas trees. So Vicki's new challenge fits so wonderfully into this time of the year: signs of christmas.
I created a little snowflake ornament for my Christmas tree

The focal point is a wonderful Santa image from Vintage Image Craft edged with some Stickles. It is layered on some die-cut patterend paper from Teresa Collins and a die-cut snowflake. The snowflake is entirely glittered with Stickles. I think there can never be enough sparkle around Christmas (lol). A little stamped sentiment (Elzybells) and a little dotted bow are the final touches.

a wonderful image fitting perfectly for the theme from Vintage Image Craft,
layered on Papermania patterend paper,
the background stamped with Rogue Redhead stamps
and some machine stitching around the edges
I embellished the card with some lace, button,
Mulberry flower, bling and a stamped sentiment from Waltzingmouse.

Cheerful Monday #18 - From The Past
I am a bit late but here is my project for Vicki's new challenge ... I am sure you will love it: From The Past. I used a lovely image from this month's challenge sponsor 'Vintage Image Craft'
It shouted loudly at me to be used with fabric and lace and I just couldn't resist
The image is printed on white muslin and backed with some bondaweb and calico.
I layered lots of vintage lace and chiffon flower ribbon around the image,
mainly by hand-stitching to secure the layers.
To one of the corners I added the only bit of paper on this little fabric hanging,
a left-over piece of musical note doily (paper: Kaisercraft).
Otherwise the corners are decorated with lace flower, ribbon and buttons.
When I looked at my 'finished' piece I thought the sides needed a bit more doing
and ended up with a little bit of embroidery ... one French knot to each heart of the cream lace!
More fabulous projects are waiting for you at the Cheerful Stamp Pad, hope you can join us for the challenge! Petra.
