Cheerful Monday #34 - Autumn in Purple and Yellow

The new challenge on the Cheerful Stamp Pad is a colour challenge: Yellow and Purple. These two colours also belong to Autumn, purple for the lovely aster and purple for Autumn leaves. I created a little tag
The focal point is an image from one of my garden asters. I layered it on Basic Bazills cardstock, the background is stencilled with distress inks. The finishing touches are some halfpearls, baker's twine and a little stamped word from PaperArtsy.

For wonderful inspiration pop over to Vicki's blog. Hope you can join us for the challenge, Petra.

Cheerful Monday #32 - Let's Stencil

Stencils are so wonderful to use in any art project, they are so versatile and can also be used with any colouring medium ... just brilliant. For Vicki's challenge: Let's Stencil I created a card with an inky stencilled background
 a scalloped white cardbase
the card panel stencilled (StencilGirl) with various blue coloured distress inks
and misted with Perfect Pearls while the stencil was still in place after the inking
a lacey heart, a Mulberry flower with some Stickles and a stamped sentiment (Elzybells)

Hope you can join us for the challenge, Petra!
