To complement my daughter's wedding dress I made a little bag for her using the same fabrics as her dress and a wonderful pattern from Emma Brennan's book: Making Vintage Bags. It is a little crescent bag with a bit of a different handle
... and therefore very easy to carry it around on the wedding day. It is surprisingly roomy as well taking mobile phone, make-up, ... and even a sandwich(lol) I enjoyed making this bag and it is so easy to make that I created a second one for Autumn
Petra What an amazing talent to be able to make such beautiful bags. The bag you made for your daughter's wedding is just so delightful. Wishes Lynne Thanks so much for visiting
Beautiful! I found the instructions in"Making Vintage Bags" a little thin, but your pictures make everything perfectly clear. Thank you! I love the look of this bag -one of the best in the book.

Super cute bags!
How unusual Petra, but very lovely xx
Your little bags are fabulous and it is amazing what the fabrics and lace do to make each completely different and unique. Happy stitching...
