Sketches are like recipes and I love recipes. I came across a particular nice one set by Caryn for the Cupcake Craft Challenge #64:
My sketch interpretation:
Supplies:
* a square white card
* covered with a snowscene paper downloaded from the web (cannot remember from where)
* 3 length of stripes of dark blue plain paper and Hot of the Press 'Snowflakes'
* the centre was created by cutting a dark blue plain paper square and layering it with a stamped image (Elzybells 'A Winter Song', coloured with Koh-i-noors and OMS, glitter from Stickles 'Frosted Lace'), a white embossed card frame (Cuttlebug embossing folder 'Swiss Dots'), a very thin square frame (Hot of the Press 'Snowflakes') and lots of tiny glittery snowflakes (punch: Woodware, Stickles 'Frosted Lace')
* the butterfly of the sketch turned into a double snowflake with a felted brad in the middle (punch: Sizzix 'Holidays', brad: Woodware)
Enjoy, Petra.
