... on and in an empty ribbon spool. I had it for ages and it was such fun to alter it!
I gently took the spool apart and covered the back and the outside with patterend paper from JillibeanSoup. For the inside I decided on a crackled look using PaperArtsy Fresco chalk and crackle paint (this worked a treat!). The acorns and leaves are stamped, cut out, coloured with colouring pencils and covered with Diamond Glaze. The stamps are from a Dutch stamp company called Ludies-Different Colors. They have brilliant designs and the quality is great, it was a treat to use them.
As finishing touches I found a little leftover organza ribbon, some pearls and a little stamped word label (Crafty Individuals). Have a lovely evening, Petra.

Playtime
A piece of sticky back canvas, a couple of stencils and ink pads and some leftover bits and pieces on the table ...
.... a clock tag. I inked the canvas and then stencilled it. The clock hands are cut with a Sizzix die-cut, inked and covered with glossy accents. The words are stamped (Paperartsy) on transparency and layered on some patterend Prima paper and a little bit of lace attaching it with staples. I finished the tag with some little blings and a bit more lace ... now back to do some more playing with paints in my dining room (lol), Petra.

Hybernation
It definitely feels like this time of the year already. The days are
getting rapidly shorter and the weather has changed into torrential rain
and gusty winds. So what could be better than going into hybernation? I so envy this little mouse, I could do the same just right now (lol) ....
This little dormouse is from the Octopode Factory and looks very content. I coloured it with distress markers and Copics. For the background of my card I covered some white card with an old book page which I distress with various inks and then stamped around the edges with a free stamp from the Craft Stamper's magazine. And I couldn't resist to give the tiny snoring noises a little bit of glitter ..... have a lovely evening, Petra.

Vintage Paris
... a challenge of a postcard and lots of wishful thinking ... sigh .... wish I could have been there!
I created the background using mainly images from the Graphics Fairy, the lovely Lady is from e-vint.com. I added some swirly stamping with Artemio stamps and a little lace and some pearls. Have a lovely weekend, Petra.

Take a Ride
... and enjoy a Summer's journey on this cute scooter. I created this postcard for a monthly swap. It was inspired by Lousette Ashton's hot colour palette cards in Crafts Stamper August 2012
The postcard is 4" x 6" in size purely white card. I layered it with strips of Cosmo Cricket paper and digital paper from Kylie Healey. The grey paper is dry-embossed using the Tim Holtz Checkerboard folder.

The little Scooter is a Snag'em stamp, I coloured it with colouring pencils and Copics and added a little bit of silver glitter. It runs on some washi tape. The little sentiment at the top is a stamp from Lily of the Valley. Petra.

Photopage
... that is scrapbooking. I haven't created a scrapbook page for ages but then there were these wonderful photos of our grandson and I thought I better start making some album for him (lol) ... otherwise the photos will just sit in a folder on my computer and nobody will really look at them. Here is the first ... a day out visiting Portsmouth and the Historic Dockyard
I decided to keep the pages at 8"x8" which seems to be a good size for me to work with. As starting point I used a sketch from the Artblog
digital papers and paper-embellishments from the Design House, stamps are from Woodware. Enjoy your Sunday, Petra.
