Cheerful Monday #6 - Easter Banner

For the second week of Vicki's challenge: anything but a card I created a banner for my forthcoming Easter Market ... well, rather two (lol) ... using Creative Cuts and More banner pages
the banner pages are covered with October Afternoon paper to make them very sturdy
scalloped circles (Quickutz, Octover Afternoon paper) edged with Stickles
layered with a paper rosette (October Afternoon)
and a chipboard letter which was painted with acrylic paint and stickled
embellishments: paper flowers and little pearls
I linked the individual pages with satin ribbon.
I created a second banner using similar ingredients ... I will show you in a next post, here is a little bit of a sneak peek :-)

Hope you can join us for this challenge, just hop over to the  Cheerful Stamp Pad for more inspiration, Petra.

Photo Session #2 - Spring and Exciting News

A warm welcome to my new followers and thank you so much to everybody stopping by my blog - this is so much appreciated!

It is Friday, the end of the week and the start of the weekend .... yippeehhh!!!! Today I would like to share with you the first signs of Spring I found in my garden, lovely crocusses and somewhat very shy snowdrops trying to hide in the undergrowth ...
Since I have taken the photos the temperature has dropped and teenie tiny snowflakes are falling from the sky ...... Winter is not quite gone yet (sigh)

And then I had some exciting news, I won the sketch challenge over at Little Miss Muffet with my card Together  and will be guest designer for their next challenge. I am really looking forward to the challenge - which I cannot tell you about at the moment ....

Have a lovely weekend, keep warm and safe, Petra.

Cheerful Monday #5 - Lacey Tins

This week's sponsor for the Cheerful Stamp Pad challenge: anything but a card is Creative Cuts and More. They have fabulous items for altering and decorating. In this spirit and still very much inspired by Nancy's 14 heARTS I recycled a couple of tins (vegetable stock and salt (lol) )
The tins were spray-painted with antique white acrylic paint,
stamped (7Gypsies) and spray-painted again
decorated with lots of lace and pearls

the images are from PaperWhimsy layered on musical note paper

Hope you can join us for the Cheerful Stamp Pad challenge, have a lovely Monday, Petra.
