When I looked at Vicki's current challenge: Numbers, the first two things which came to my mind were birthdays and calories ... no idea why ... so I thought why not combine the two ... what would a birthday be without any sweeties (lol)
The sweet dunce cap girlie with the lollipop from Dilly Beans digital stamps really enjoys her day .... The background is Tim Holtz stamped with distress ink, heat embossed and then inked with various distress inks. I printed the image and cut it out whereby the lollipop has been printed and cut out in a 'slightly' larger size (lol) and coloured it with Sharpies and Copics. The sentiment is a stamp from Suagr&Spice. I layered the card topper on Kraft and black card. As embellishment I added a paper flower with a button middle.
Pop over to Vicki's blog and enjoy even more numbers. Hope you can join us for the challenge. Petra.

Word Cloud
I have so little time for crafting at the moment but I needed a quick card for a friend doing a triathlon for the very first time. I got a bit desperate, then remembered that recently I saw a word cloud and so I went off to look for these fantastic word cloud tools ... these are my quick results for the world cloud
To create the cloud I used Wordle, it is easy and it is fun .....
I printed the word cloud, layered it on black card and embellished it with a few little bits, Petra.

In The Garden
This is a little tag I made for Vicki's current Cheerful Stamp Pad challenge: In the Garden using a sweet clothes label tag. The background was all flowers and seem to fit perfectly with the cute image from Digi Darla
The little girl (image: Digi Darla coloured with Copics and Sharpies) does a little bit of gardening, walking in the gras (Bazill Basics card, CC Designs die), planting some nice flowers, enjoying little butterflies (stamp: Wildrose Studio, coloured with Copics) and white fluffy clouds (white textured card, Die-namics die). The tag is embellished with some pearls, little paper flowers, some pompom trim and Baker's twine.
Hope you enjoy the Summer. To see more fabulous garden creations pop over to Vicki's blog, hope you can join us for the garden fun! Petra.

Back Home
After a wonderful relaxing holiday it's time to catch up with all what happened during the last couple of weeks ... it feels still weird to be back having to face the daily routine and going to work. To start again I thought I might share some photos I took during the holidays.
The first few days I spent with my Mum and brother in Hamburg ... exciting and amazing as during my last visit. For my Mum it was the very first visit to Hamburg and she loved it.
For the second part of the holiday my DH joined me and we went to a small peninsula off the west coast of the North Sea called Nordstrand ... a place for everyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature
It was a trip with wonderful sunshine but also atrocious downpours

We went for muddy walks and enjoyable cycle rides
We so much enjoyed to watch some amazing animals and find clusters of shells
Wishing you a lovely weekend, Petra.
