Jewellery - Stamped Pendant

The inspiration for this little bit of jewellery came from Paula's (from One Lucky Day ) wooden stamped disks. I just fell in love with them and really had to give it a try. It all started with a wooden disk and gesso and several layers of distress stains and Perfect Pearls ... front and back

I stamped the disk with Archival Ink and stamps from PrimaMarketing and PaperArtsy. To seal it a generous layer of Glossy Accents was applied to which I then added a little bling.
Instead of using Memory Foil tape (which I di not have) I just added a little bit of Silver Stickles around the edge. To make it into a piece of wearable art a little bail was glued to the back of the disk and a lovely voile ribbon and waxed cord is used as necklace

Have a lovely evening, Petra.

Tag Tuesday - Shelters and Homes

Shelters/Homes is the current theme over at Tag Tuesday. Well, my home is my shelter, it feels like a safe haven and a place where I can rest. I am also so lucky to have a wonderful garden to enjoy nature. It always feel wonderful to return home after work, after a holiday .....

The base for the tag is watercoloured card which was left from some other projects last year.
The house, flowers and sentiment are stamped with PaperArtsy stamps and coloured with Copics.
To embellish the tag I just added some ribbon from my ribbon-leftover-box.
.
... and the fun thing is, No 62 is my real house number (BIG SMILE)
Thank you for stopping by, Petra.

Cheerful Monday #34 - Autumn in Purple and Yellow

The new challenge on the Cheerful Stamp Pad is a colour challenge: Yellow and Purple. These two colours also belong to Autumn, purple for the lovely aster and purple for Autumn leaves. I created a little tag
The focal point is an image from one of my garden asters. I layered it on Basic Bazills cardstock, the background is stencilled with distress inks. The finishing touches are some halfpearls, baker's twine and a little stamped word from PaperArtsy.

For wonderful inspiration pop over to Vicki's blog. Hope you can join us for the challenge, Petra.

Lunagirl - Lady Detective

She is a lady who keeps an eye on everything and everybody ... not somebody to mess about with (lol)

for my tag I used another image from the Lunagirl's Steampunk Girl collage sheet: Mrs Sherlock Holmes
I combined the image with patterned papers from PaperMania,
some stamping (stamps: 7Gypsies, PaperArtsy)
and various embellishments to complete the tag.

There is still time to join the Steampunk Girls challenge at Lunagirl Moonbeam and to get the fabulous steampunk collage sheets for a reduced price. What are you waiting for? Hope to see you for the challenge, Petra.

Cheerful Monday #11 - Discover Yourself

It is the second week of Vicki's challenge: Gothic Cuties. For this week I used another amazing image from Dilly Beans, a girl with a skull bow- isn't she striking?
I wanted her face to be the focal point so left the background quite bare.
This is a left-over spray ink background on textured white card
stamped with PaperArtsy and Stamper Anonymous stamps and Archival ink,
words highlighted with Stickles.
The image itself and its background is coloured with Copics,
I doodled a second frame line around the image with Sharpies.

Pop over to Vicki's blog for more amazing inspiration, hope you can play along with us! Petra.
