Maybe it is the colour, maybe the colour combination, the composition, ...... probably everything and all together. Till now I used the bird in two projects
a matchbox venture
a Christmas tag
but I wouldn't be surprised if it would turn up in some other disguise. Petra.

Hi Petra,
Oh my gosh, I love that little box!!! You do such amazing things with those tiny match boxes! Those paper flowers are fabulous, did you make those yourself, or did you buy them that way? I love how scrunchy they look, such a great texture. Thanks so much for playing along again today!
I, too, adore that bird! It was the image on someone's blog header that led me to The Graphics Fairy! Thanks for the wonderful idea to snag it and use it in one of my own creations!
That image has been haunting me, too! It is perfect, and so is what you've done with it :-)
Two beautiful projects...it is a fab bird

Funny thing - that bird has the same effect on me - love the matchbox
These are wonderful - really love the little matchbox.
I love both of your projects. They are both so clever, especially the matchbox. You have a great eye for collage.

I too am a bird lover. Both the images and the creatures outside. These projects are so pretty and elegant!

What great projects! Your work is beautiful.
I loved that little bird, too! So much, in fact, that he's on my new blog header. The matchbox is such a sweet little idea. Hooray for the Graphics Fairy and hooray for you!
OH MY! I didn't realize that was a tiny little matchbox until I started reading the comments here. WOW! What an amazing project you did with that. Very creative and I love the colors you used.
Wow I love what you have done with this bird tag....need to try printing it instead of just using it for my blog header....creative wheels are squeaking away thanks to this post! What a wonderfully whimsical blog!
