Creative Friday Special

A special Advent's challenge from Creative Friday: anything in brown and turquoise plus Christmas motive. I decorated a second matchbox - well, the motive might be a bit unusual

Supplies:
matchbox
paper - K&Company, The Graphics Fairy, plain turquoise card
image - The Graphics Fairy
stamps - Elzybells
ink - Artemio, VersaColour
blings - Kanban
ribbon/pearls - from my stash
nestabilities/punches - label8, corner punch from Creative Memories

* I removed all matches from the box :-) * I cut two big label8 shapes from K&Company paper and one from The Graphics Fairy French musicsheet which I have slighly altered (colour and some golden distressing) * The bird label has two rounded corners, the NOEL sentiment is taken from the French musicsheet and added to the bird tag. I punched a whole into the tag with the Crop-a-dile and wove some small ribbon through it. The little sentiment in the middle is stamped. * The flower decoration is made of turquoise (yes, it is turquoise, unfortunately the picture doesn't quite show it) plain card, I first stamped a pointsettia image and then watered the card and squeezed it into shape. The result is a papermache-like feel. * The inside of the box is lined with brown fabric lining, the side covered with part of the French musicsheet. The box inside is distressed with brown ink and has a bow and pearl handle.

It is really great fun to decorate the mactboxes, and the next box is already in the pipeline :-)
