Eventually I managed to visit Lucy and Colin in their 'new' home. It looks very nice and quite different from before the water damage. I am so happy for them that everything turned out ok for them in the end ... Of course, a new home needs to be filled ... at least with a card (lol)
I layered a scallop white card with wonderful paper from Anna Griffin and cut it around the scalloped edge. As next step I placed the washi tape and added the perforator lines using acrylic paint. The homely house is a stamp from Paperbag Studios and the stamped roof star is from Woodware. To finish the card I added a pearl, a mulberry flower and a little stamped sentiment from Elzybells.
I also link it to the IBS Inspiration Challenge IBSIC #34 and their November sketch
Have a great start to the new week, Petra.

This is a terrific new home card Petra!
This is such a beautiful card! We were so touched by your kindness and the gorgeous house warming presents. You have been the kindest and most thoughtful friend during our troubles that anyone could ask for. And Yes, there is No Place Like Home!
Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday,
Lucy xx
Sigh. This is so pretty and soft. :) What a unique and beautiful way to interpret our sketch! (I love Anna Griffin stuff, too; that paper is drool-worthy!)
Thanks so much for playing with us at Inspired By Stamping!
Beautiful card, Petra! I wish I could pay Lucy a housewarming visit.
