Button Card

the other day I bought some vintage buttons which are mounted on a little card ... very vintagey looking. Looking for a little project and having good use for my new Sizzix label shapes (lol) I thought it might be quite fun to make a button card myself. I used the colours from Sketchy Colors: red - pink - turquoise

Supplies:
paper - Bazill Basics, Crate Paper
stamp - Heine
ink - Elzybells
image - Graphics Fairy
buttons/ribbon - from my stash
Sizzix

I printed the image onto the turquoise paper and cut both the red and the turquoise paper into a label shape. Then the papers were layered, I stamped some twirly bits around the edges and attached some hot pink buttons to the tailor's dummy with some light pink thread. At the back of the card I made some knots to keep the buttons in place
I need to practise this a bit more ... and I have lots of buttons .... so you might see some more of these cards soon. Enjoy your Sunday, Petra.
