Rocking Horse

Elizabeth and Shelly as first co-hosts for the Inspiration Avenue have chosen: Rocking Horses for the current challenge. What fun ... I love rocking horses, we have one at home although only a little one! I am not quite sure how old it is ... A friend gave it to my children when they were quite small, and it had already been restored. Since then the little horse has been enjoyed not only by my children but by our grandson and many other little ones ... lots of memories sweet ones and some 'accidental' ones when the horse went wild at times (lol)
And from time to time it enjoys some fresh air and sunshine. Have a lovely weekend, Petra.

Wow Petra. What an impressive rocking horse. It looks very, very child friendly. I am delighted that you took time to share it with us. It's amazing how something older like that stands up so much better than the stuff that is made today. I love it.

A family treasure, and for the next generations with a pretty seat on it, too. TFS!

The teddy and the rocking horse are playing together! I love it. And I agree, I wish things still made with the craftsmanship and care that they once were, back when it wasn't such a throwaway culture. I'm holding out hope, though, that even in modern times toys will still be made with care so that children for many generations will befriend and play with them, be they bears or horses (-:
