Hope you enjoyed a wonderful Mardi Gras with its fantastic masquerades, masks and non-stop parties. Shar told the story of Mardi Gras over at the Gingersnap blog and painted wonderful vivid images of how it came about ... and the Gingers provided the perfect backdrop with their colourful and fanciful creations!
Although being a bit late for the Fat Tuesday party, I would like to share the mask with you I created for the masquerade
I sooo enjoyed creating this mask, the template was so perfect for the occasion and so were the papers from Crafty Individuals. The project was finished with embossed swirls from Artemio, lots of bling and feathers.
And the best is ... you can still join the party with your fanciful creations throughout March, hop over to the Gingersnap Blog and show us how you celebrated Mardi Gras. Petra.

Lovely mask, would have been useful here for carnival!
Such a gorgeous mask Petra, and as soon as you mentioned masquerade I instantly heard the music from Phantom of the Opera (Masquerade). Beautiful work as always my friend. Annette x
