The Newspaper Bird

I am not quite sure what it is exactly but since I've seen this bird I have been hooked. No doubt it is a free blog header from The Background Fairy but still ... there is something fascinating about the bird

Maybe it is the colour, maybe the colour combination, the composition, ...... probably everything and all together. Till now I used the bird in two projects

a matchbox venture

a Christmas tag

but I wouldn't be surprised if it would turn up in some other disguise. Petra.

  1. Hi Petra,
Oh my gosh, I love that little box!!! You do such amazing things with those tiny match boxes! Those paper flowers are fabulous, did you make those yourself, or did you buy them that way? I love how scrunchy they look, such a great texture. Thanks so much for playing along again today!

  2. I, too, adore that bird! It was the image on someone's blog header that led me to The Graphics Fairy! Thanks for the wonderful idea to snag it and use it in one of my own creations!
