Lunagirl - Alice Charm Bracelet & Giveaway

I cannot tell you how happy I am today ... a long Bank Holiday weekend has started (yippppeee) which means I will have time to do some of my favourite activities like crafting, gardening, go for walks, ..... how wonderful is this? ... and I finished my first ever piece of jewellery! I did not really occur to me to even attempt anything like this .... till I saw this charm bracelet and Karen from Lunagirl Moonbeams announced the current challenge: Alice in Wonderland. Well, I was hooked (lol)
The bracelet and charms are all in Antique Bronze
which works so nicely with the colours of Lunagirl Moonbeam's Alice & Friends 1910 collage sheet, the images are just adorable.
The images are Laserprints and sealed with Decoupage glue to - hopefully - prevent the inks to run. I also sealed the little trays inside. Once all the glue had dried, I used epoxy stickers to cover the images and then glued it into the trays. The little trays have a front and back filling.
The next step was to line up all the images, charms and beads and attach them to the chain.
I truly struggled with closing the jump rings and making the loops (sigh), it needs more practise!
I really like the way thebracelet turned out and I am quite sure there will be another one (lol)
and because it was such a happy day, I would like to share it with you and give the bracelet away.

If you would like get this little piece, please just leave me a comment mentioning that you would like it! I will draw the winner next Saturday.

And don't forget to pop over to Karen's blog for the current Alice challenge. There is still time to take part till Sunday. And there is also still time to get the Alice collage sheets for a reduced price.
Wishing you a lovely weekend, Petra.

  11. Oh Petra - it's beautiful. You are so clever. I have tried the image in a frame thing and the ink ran as soon as I added the glossy dimension. So disheartening! I might now give it all another go! I would love to be in the draw for this bracelet. How could you give it away? I have a granddaughter it would really suit!!
