Cheerful Monday #7 - Ballett Shoes

These are wonderful ballett shoes and take me right back to the time when my daughter did ballett in her free time ... ballett with all its glamour but also the pain especially for dancing on points ... oh dear, I am getting all nostalgic now (sigh) ... let's go quickly back to this adorable image from A Day for Daisies
a little 10x10cm card base layered with Craftwork Cards patterend paper
the image is coloured with Copics, the background created using digital papers,
and layered on black card
the ballett dancer is die-cut from EchoPark paper using a Marianne Design Die
lace from Imagine DIY, little pearls and a pearl heart
the shoes, leaves and rose were cut out and added to the main image as second layer
given the image a little bit more depth

To see many more wonderful dance inspiration please do pop over to the Cheerful Stamp Pad blog, hope you can join us for the challenge, Petra.
