14 heARTS #2 - Dream

Thanks to Nancy and her gorgeous heart inspiration I pulled out one of the wooden hearts I have been collected over the last months (more likely years), covered it with twine
and decorated it

wooden heart, twine - vintage buttons, half-pearls, mulberry and fabric flowers - 
book page, doily coloured with distress ink

    you actually covered it with twine (it didn't come that way)? fabulous look and texture. The contrast between the twine heart and doily really pops and makes for a wonderful textured background on which to display that adorable image.
