Told You So

... another canvas and tissue paper project ... this time a little one and still experimenting
This time I gessoed the canvas first and then painted it using acrylic paints. The paint layer was not smooth but I kept it a bit rough and structured. Once the paint was dry I covered it with stamped tissue paper (stamps: Prima Marketing, Penny Black). Before sealing the canvas I stamped around the edges (stamp: Penny Black).
The finishing touches are some little pearls and a leftover ruffled ribbon .... the next canvas is already waiting! Petra.

    I got hooked on canvases too Petra once I started - have three unfinished ones here in the craftie space - which I must get round to completing. Don't know if you remember these

    Oh boy....I can see how much fun you had- I have to try this....love the colors and love the trim along the border too..... I bought some canvas' just have to find the time. Thanks for the great inspiration!

    OK Petra, there is a small canvas over there on my desk and after seeing what a beautiful canvas you've created I am going to have to give it a try. I have stampe on tissue paper before and put it on art projects where the stamp itself would not work, but never a canvas.....until today. LOL Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see you others.
