Valentine Door Hanging

It is so absolutely exciting! I signed up to take part in an online Artistclass organized by Mary Green from Green Paper. The projects on offer are very appealing. The first one is a Valentine Door Hanging. by Danielle Muller. Danielle creates the most amazing stuff. Based on her instructions this is what I came up with:

I used Danielle's heart template to cut the basic heart shape from plain card and covered it with BasicGrey papers. The edges are embellished with crepe paper and ribbon. The middle part consists of a stamped rosette (paper: Dovecraft, stamp: Penny Black, ink: Elzybells), plain brown crepe paper and the winged heart from the Graphics Fairy whereby the heart is covered with little fabric roses. A tassel, a little glass heart, a delightful little fabric birdie and the Happy Valentine banner from Danielle are the finishing touches.
Happy Valentine! Petra.
