Lace Tag

This is for Tag Tuesday, the last challenge for January was: Lace .... I can hardly believe that we are already in February .... my tag is built around a wonderful image from ms. bailey - a beautiful lady wearing an amazing dress
I could not find any patterend papers which would have really worked with the colour of the dress so for the paper layer underneath the image and lace I scanned the cover of one of my old crochet books (beginning 1900) - and please feel free to use the image in your art
and for the second paper layer and the back of the tag I used the lady's skirt
I really like this paperwith its colour and pattern. Lots of lace as embellishment, a fabric flower and some bling and glitter. Petra.

Petra
The image is beautiful but it is what you created with the image that makes it art.
Love the details.

That's a beautiful tag! I love the way you finished the back as well. How clever to use the skirt that way.

You are so clever Petra, What a great idea to scan the book for the background paper. I'll have to remember that. Its a beautiful tag.
Hopefully the computer woes are over.
